The Rocketeer

Anyone remember the movie, The Rocketeer? I watched it when it first came our (1991 I believe) and just rented it the other night. What an amazing movie. I absoulutely LOVE movies from this era...I REALLY can't wait for The Aviator now. Kinda trippy seeing Billy Campbell on there, as he is no the O.C. now.

Anyways, thought I would remind everyone of a good Disney flick.

Wow, that's a really good movie, I haven't seen it in a long time. Jennifer Connelly is SO gorgeous (even if she HAS had a nose job).

Didn't find The Rocketeer today, but I did find 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea on DVD! I can't believe that I didn't already have this!

Is it true that she and Billy had a baby together but never married? I seem to remember reading that somewhere. I loved that movie too. He was also on that series Once & Again that my husband hated.

Re: The Rocketeer

I did see it also, though my memory is kind of dim on it. Interestingly, some of the music from the film is used in the Epcot fountain show. Also interestingly, the film was based on a comic book from the 1980s (set in the 1940s with a retro feel). And of course many of us will know Jennifer Connelly from Labyrinth.

Re: The Rocketeer

That's one of my favorite movies. I must have watched it 1000 times as a child.
