Rented this film the other night. It's great! DW went out and bought the DVD the next day. Anyone else seen it?

I saw it in the theater! I really liked it (but I could watch a washing machine for two hours if it had a picture of Nicolas Cage on it, so that doesn't say much! LOL). And I was glad that downtown Manhattan got some play -- they've really done a great job of rebuilding the area after 9/11.

Nicholas Cage has always been an interesting actor, in quirky films. I loved him in "The Family Man."

One of the things DW & I liked about National Treasure is it's completely family friendly. There's not so much as a swear word. And one "sweet" kiss.

It IS family friendly -- and it goes back to the tradition of making movies incredibly interesting without having to add in the sex/violence/foul language/drugs fillers! It really makes a statement that a film can be exciting and enjoyed by all ages without resorting to those cheap tactics.

I haven't had a chance to see it yet, but was hoping DS and I might rent it this week before we go to WDW. Only if I get everthing all packed and ready to go first tho~!

DS went out and bought the DVD the day it went on sale. He and I saw it in the theater and loved it - sort of a modern-day Indiana Jones-type story. Excellent flick!

Great Movie.. DH and I saw it in the movies.. I'm a HUGH Nick Cage fan. Ever since the 1st time I saw him in what I think was one of his very first movies: Valley Girl

We can't keep ONE measley copy of this movie in the store for anything ever since it came out on Tuesday...

...and we have literally HUNDREDS! I think it's wonderful that we can recommend it as both a great action flick AND a family-friendly flick. That's probably one of the reasons it's so popular.

I didn't used to like Nicolas Cage (don't know why, exactly) but then one day I started liking him a lot! Hopefully I'll get a chance to see National Treasure in a couple weeks, when the popularity has died down and there are actually a few copies on the shelf.

I've heard great things about it so far!!

Oh, boy! I bought the movie a couple of days ago at BJ's, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I am really looking forward to it after reading this post.

I did want to see it at the cinema, but I never got a chance to do that either. Sometimes I wish that "too busy" just didn't exist!

I absolutely loved this movie when I saw it in the theater!!! It was so exciting, and like others have said it was nice to see a movie without a curse every 3 seconds. I haven't decided if I'm going to buy it or not... I want to but I don't know if it'll be as good once you know what happens. Anyone who's seen it more than once - is it still good?
