Narnia!!!!
Anyone see the preview for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe?
I didn't know Disney was doing this until the preview came on during Harry Potter tonight. I love TCoN! I've read the series at least a dozen times in my adulthood. Fantastic imagery. Incredible allegory. I hope Disney stays true to the story.

I didn't know they were doing this either! CS Lewis is such a brilliant, honest, and comprehendable writer. And his description of Aslan ("He is not safe, but he is good.") is one of the most undisputable and stunning metaphors I've ever encountered. I can't wait to see what Disney does with this.

I knew they were doing this...I just have been DYING for a trailer! I haven't seen one yet!
 I am soooo excited for this movie, though. It has a huge budget, they're casting mostly unknowns & they have an incredibly special effects team lined up. So it's got a lot of things going for it so far!

Well if they stay as true to the story as they did for Hitchhiker's Guide it should be good. I really enjoyed Hitchhiker's Guide. They did a great job making the book into a movie!

My 8 year old and I can not wait for this movie. We have read them over & over! There was a link through the disney insider to a website about the making of the movie. If I find it, I will post it.

Well, as usual there's been a threadjack.
I thought HGTTG was a good movie, but not entirely true to the book. ...and seriously, BRING YOUR TOWEL to the film. I had mine in the car and chickened out. During the entire movie I kept wishing I had my towel. In fact, if I see it again, I'll have my towel, and I'll go wearing pajamas & a bathrobe!
