Chicken Little
Am I the only one who sees no point in going to this film?

Re: Chicken Little
Is that the one about the sky falling? I haven't seen previews, but if that's it, it might be pretty cute!

I think we should all give Chicken Little a chance. The previews looked hilarious, especially since the sky really does "fall" in this movie thanks to the attacking aliens. True, the animation is definitely not the same quality as a Disney/Pixar film since this is Disney's only second major motion picture after Dinosaur to use CGI animation w/o Pixar (I don't count Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas b/c that was released to DVD/video and not theatrically), but everyone on this forum is a huge Disney fan yes? Then why not support them in this venture? If it's a success, that'll mean more of it's kind, and that means more of that Disney quality in entertainment! After all, Chicken Little and Abby Mallard are already visiting guests in the park at Studios. All the guests who approach them are telling them how much they're looking forward to the film. So come on, it's Disney!

Re: Chicken Little
Oh wow we CAN'T WAIT for it! The previews are hillarious! I may even have to add a countdown to my signature, that is how much I'm looking forward to it! We are going to see Madagascar this weekend. We probably will wait for Herbie to come to DVD. I really don't want to see Cars. But my DD probably will so I'll go but it just doesn't seem all that great.

Re: Chicken Little
I didn't think it would be interesting... but the previews look awesome. It may be a great CG film! Looking forward to it.
Madagascar... not really. Looks so so. Cars looks funny as well, but Pixar is always great.

Re: Chicken Little
Chicken Little looks good enough for a few laughs, which isn't necesarily a bad thing. After all...look at Emporer's New Groove. But if it's just going to be another Shrek 2--an okay plot crammed with riffs of everyday life and society--then I just don't know.
I'm willing to give it a chance, I mean I'll take any chance to laugh that I can get! But more and more I find myself longing for the "recent" days of Disney animated movies; Little Mermaid through the Lion King cranked out a good set of sweet, epic, wonderful stories. And be it CGI or 2D (I'm a 2D fan myself. ) I hope Chicken Little does not follow in Dreamwork's footsteps and start Disney off with merely a string of funny movies. I hope Disney can get their groove back! The animation doesn't look TOO bad in the trailers, either. ![]()
