Peter And The Starcatchers

Whilst on our recent WDW vacation, I had opportunity to read a couple books, one of which was "Peter And The Starcatchers" by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson. It's kind of geared for younger readers, but I snap up everything I can by Dave Barry (humor columnist for the Miami Herald). This book is fantastic. It tells how Peter Pan BECAME Peter Pan, the secret behind "Pixie Dust," how Hook became Hook (his original name was "Black Stache"), how T-Bell became T-Bell and lots of other neat things.

I purchased the book at the book store bext to Sci-Fi Dine-In. The one I bought was a Disney Edition, which leads me to wonder if perhaps Walt Disney Productions might be planning to make a movie based on the book.

Re: Peter And The Starcatchers

My DS11 read this book and loved it!!! He loaned it to his cousin, and I am waiting for him to finish so I can have a turn.
Glad to read that you enjoyed it.

I haven't had the chance to read this yet, but I LOVE Dave Barry! He is so funny, his article appears in our local paper here also and I never miss it. He also wrote the movie "Big Trouble" with Tim Allen.
