Wuzzles, Gummi's, and Duck Tales
I wonder when all the great Disney cartoons of the 80's/90's will finally see their way to DVD?
Whatever happened to great Disney Cartoons anyway. Kim possible is alright, but it's no Gummi Bears! The Proud family and Dave the Barbarian... puh-lease... they are not even close to the same quality and story telling of the likes of Duck Tails, Rescue Rangers, or even Darkwing Duck.

omg...I would love to see Ducktales...rescue rangers...darkwing duck...tail spin...all on dvd...that would just be too cool!!!! Omg...maybe we can sign a petition and send it to disney...I agree with you...the cartoons of the today are not entertaining...besides kim!

Gummy Bears bouncing here and there and everywhere....They are the Gummy Bears! We have the CD from the Disney Afternoon series:)

Neat fact on Wuzzles and Gummi Bears
"The Wuzzles" and "The Adventures of the Gummi Bears," both cartoons created by Walt Disney's animation studio, debuted on September 14, 1985 and were syndicated to different networks, competing against each other in the same time slot. "The Adventures of the Gummi Bears" ultimately had a larger audience on NBC then "The Wuzzles" did on CBS, and "The Wuzzles" was canceled after just 13 episodes.

You don't understand...I have been WAITING since 1991 for these cartoons to come out on DVD, and haven't been able to find any info anywhere.  Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers is my favorite cartoon...ever. I found a tape with 2 episodes on it at a secondhand store a while ago, and I've been watching the same 2 episodes every single morning since then! I can't live without my Rescue Rangers!My dad bought me a Disney Afternoon sing-along tape way back when, when all I did when I got home from school was plop in front of the TV and watch the tail end of Gummi Bears (I always seemed to miss it!  ), Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers & Tale Spin! I STILL HAVE THE TAPE...plus about 2 spare copies, just in case! LOL.My parents took me to DL for the first time in 1991, when they had all the Disney Afternoon characters out and about. It was heaven. I saw Gadget, Monty, Baloo, Kit, Rebecca, Chip, Dale, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Sonny, Cubby....on and on! *sigh!* So yeah...I'm a Disney Afternoon freak. Oh, and FYI...someone on Ebay has been selling a bootleg version of Gummi Bears on DVD. I think they copied all the episodes off of VHS onto DVDs. I think they sell Rescue Rangers, too.

I was just thinking about these shows the other day when I saw Chip and Dale in their Rescue Ranger outfits in Adventureland!
I'm going to have to get these as well. I loved watching those shows and I even had the Nintendo games of these shows which were some of my favorite games! |
