For those who love TRUE-LIFE ADVENTURES, there's a new article looking back at the comic book adaptation of the 1956 Walt Disney film, SECRETS OF LIFE. It even comes with some dinosaurs!

A documentary-style comic like this is certainly an aspect of Disney comics not discussed as often as the wonderful adventures that Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and even Zorro had at Dell Comics and Western Publishing Company.

But ya might just learn something scientific from it. I sure did, and that's why I'm passing it along. Thanks! I enjoyed watching Walt Disney nature films when I was a kid, but offhand I'm not sure if I saw SECRETS OF LIFE. I hope to remedy that.

The article is written by cartoonist Scott Shaw!, whose Disney credits include MICKEY'S TWICE UPON A CHRISTMAS.

LOL I didn't even look at your join date....duh....I can be so slow sometimes. I always look at post count to make sure I have welcomed someone. Delayed welcome then.
