Nancy Drew
Hey!!
Did anyone else get to watch this terrific movie? I loved it! I am a Big Fan of Nancy Drew. I have all of the books and have read them all many, many times. This movie was true to the character in the books! Even her house was just as I had imagined. She was my first hero as a girl. Well done!

You sent me down memory lane with your subject heading. Huge Drew fan here - did not know there was a movie out. Now, don't bum me out and tell me it was only on TV and I missed that too... (can you tell I *never* get the remote control at my house?)

My 10 yo DS and I watched it, and I was interested in how they updated the character. My ds did like it, and asked was there a "boy" Nancy Drew, and so I got to introduce him to the wonders of the Hardy Boys!:D

Yup! I saw the movie on World of Disney last Sunday night. It was a good one. I didn't read if it did well in the ratings but, if it did, they will be likely to try it out as a series (especially since ABC seems to be in the ratings cellar now!)
I, too, read dozens of the Nancy Drew books when I was younger. I rememebr that I always looked forward to the next book, too. |
