Christopher Robin replaced in new Winnie the Pooh series?

Okay, this is kind of odd:

Okay, I can cope with alternate universes. But that is kind of odd.

On the other hand, the live-action Alice in Wonderland series from some years back (with an African-American Queen of Hearts, roller-skating White Rabbit, and very modern Alice) was perfectly fine. So I'm sure it will actually be OK.

(Some may remember that series -- circa 1991, Adventures in Wonderland -- because the characters were part of the post-Spaceship Earth ride area, in which voice recognition technology allowed people to choose what the characters in a short film would do ("Should I look for Dinah in the tree, or on the bookshelf? What do YOU think?" etc. and it could tell what people said).

Perhaps she will be Christopher Robin's long lost twin sister, captured by Captain Hook so long ago and finally rescued by the Rescuers of course!!

I absolutely loved the Adventures in Wonderland series...we have a couple of the shows on VHS. It was very very good.

I, for one, don't particularly like the new addition to the hundred acre wood. It ain't broke, so why try to fix it.

Although I know you are kidding, I figure she may be a relative or something too.

Also, what we know and watch is merely the way the characters exist in Christopher Robin's mind. The world of Pooh and company concieved by another child could be quite different. This may be an interesting approach.
