I know I'm in a distinct minority here, but Jungle Book is my all-time Disney fave. My kids think I act like Baloo. Bring it on, I'm ready with my Bare Necessities!!:)

I'm not incredibly sure about it yet, although I'm glad it's not a straight to video deal though.

I'll probably take my nephew to see it. Jungle Book is one of his as well. When he was younger, we were like Baloo and Mowgli.

Hey wdwjeff! Add another member to that "minority" party...Jungle Book has been my favorite since I was no bigger than mowgali! When I heard they came out with a Jungle Book II, I whooped out loud without knowing it....guess my inner child was waiting for this time for awhile ;) So far the animation and voices I've heard on the commericals sound and look great! My DD said she'd even go with me....IF I didn't sing along outloud (does humming count? :whistle: )

Well, just wanted to toss in my "two cents" into the new minority fund and let you know we may be small, but we're proud!

I can't wait also!! Can't wait to take my DS to see it. I never wanted to see the first movie, but when my Mother bought it for my son we got hooked!!;) So we are two more excited Jungle Book II fans waiting for the new release!!!:D

It's always amazing what "clicks" for one person to make a Disney movie their favorite. With me, I just love the personalities behind these characters. I mean who doesn't have a "Baloo" in their family tree (so to speak... ;) ) And those vultures with their English accents and "Beatles" moppet hair thing going on...gotta love Disney's sense of humor!

Well good to see there's more of "us" out there. Thanks for stepping out and saying hi!

As a matter of fact, tonight is Disney Movie Night in our house. And it is MY turn to pick out the movie!!!! Guess what we're going to be watching tonight?????

Another vote for Jungle Book! We love it in our house, too. It was always a favoite of mine when I was little, and now my son loves it, too! He thinks the animals are WONDERFUL (he's an animal freak -- wants to be the next Crocodile Hunter), and The Lion King is just too much for him (he's 4 yrs old, and in his words, "I don't wanna watch Lion King Mama -- it's just too sad!!"). We are so excited to find out JB II will be showing while we're back in the States on vacation (currently military stationed overseas) and have plans to go see it as a family while we're there!

HI peanutzmom! Wonderful to hear another generation of JB lovers is in the making! I hoping while I'm down at DL this spring break, they'll have some new stuff at the shops. I still have a china cup my grandmother bought me back in 1971...but wouldn't mind something to "balance" it out with ;)

Good to hear you're enjoying your time while back in the states.
My DH was was stationed in Bosnia for a year, and we did WDW when he returned and loved it. Our DD was only three at the time and was pretty much overwhelmed by not only the HUGE characters...but also from having her daddy away for so long. The thing she love the most was the Dumbo ride...she had dad ride it her with over and over...and over and over....:D It made a lasting impression on the both of them...though I think they'd like to try some new ones now!

Anyways, enjoy your time home AND the new JB II..Long live Baloo!

Hi wdwjeff....glad to see you're back! When I saw that you posted your first response a couple of weeks back and there wasn't anyone " 'fessin up" along side you, I thought this is a brave individual indeed and should be supported!:D And look how our numbers are growing!
