more disney sequels coming our way

after watching "bambi 2" and "kronk's new groove" today, i saw the sneak peeks of what's coming up for disney and saw a few more sequels coming are way. there's going to be a "brother bear 2" and "the fox and the hound 2". there's also going to be another stitch movie but this time it's going to be "leroy and stitch." BB2, FATH 2, and LAS didn't get into specifics as to what the plots are. i didn't like the drawing for LAS though. lilo looked very different compared to the other movies.

Oh Fox and the Hound 2! That sounds like it's going to be a good one! Now I'm excited! The orignal was so well made.

Jeany, I think LAS stands for Lilo and Stitch.

I really don't think I like these. Fox and the Hound 2? Bambi 2? Leave it to Disney to ruin my childhood....

ENOUGH WITH THE SEQUELS. Seriously. Fox and the Hound was just fine. So was Bambi, and Lilo & Stitch, and Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan, and everything else. Why mess with a good thing?? I haven't heard much about what Lasseter's doing, but I hope he makes ending unnecessary sequels one of his first actions.

Oh come now Kippage that's pretty harsh. If it wasn't for Disney, great entertainment would not exist.

It was Disney who made the first talking cartoons. It was Disney who created the very first full-length animated motion picture. It was Disney who invented the theme park. There's hardly a piece of entertainment ground that doesn't exist if it wasn't for Disney.

Believe me I loathe and despise sequels to the animated masterpieces as much as many others. Walt Disney himself hated sequels and never wanted them. But Eisner got greedy and fell away from tradition Disney many of us grew up on. But there's new changes being made everyday. now that Lasseter is in charge, things are definitely going to get better. He's already axed Rapunzel (which already had MILLIONS of dollars invested) as well as Toy Story 3 (he'll not let it happen without the original team to ensure quality). So please be careful before going so far that Disney ruined your childhood, because for many of us, Disney made it the best.

Yep. Apparently Lady Tremaine, Cindy's wicked step mother, get's a wish from a Fairy Godparent or something to that nature, and goes on a mission to make sure the night Cindy went to the ball never happened, so that there never would be a happy ending for Cindy!

...sigh. Sequels make me sad.

I will admit though. I liked "Return of Jafar" for about two months when it first came out; I was 11 or 12. Hate it now. Never bothered with "Aladdin and the King of Theives" until weeks ago, and actually liked it to a degree; the animation had improved and William's return as Genie added much.

I didn't like Little Mermaid 2, or...guh, any of the sequels, really. Lion King 2 had potential, but I still thought they coulda done better. Yeah, I'm a harsh critic, hehe.

Only two Disney sequels I am hardcore for are "Rescuers Down Under" and "Toy Story 2." At least, those are the only two that come to mind. My brain is fried by chalk pastel and fixative.

If they make a Snow White 2, I'm boycotting them for a while. Don't mess with the beginning of it all.
