My review on "Cars"

well, i just got home from NYC a few minutes ago and in order to wind down after a nice time in the city, I decided to write my review for all of those who are anxiously waiting for it. here goes:

"Cars" is about this hot shot race car that's competing in the Piston Cup. he, and two other race cars, are tied for the Piston Cup and have to go to California to race again for this prestigious cup. Along the way to California, Lightning McQueen, played by Owen Wilson, ends up in this deserted town called Radiator Springs, where he has to repair the road that he destroyed. During his stay at Radiator Springs, he makes some friends with the locals and falls in love with a Porche.

I don't want to spoil the rest of the movie for those who want to see it.

i think "Cars" is so cute, funny, and a great film with good messages, especially the biggest one: winning isn't everything. the racing might be a little loud for the little ones, but it is overall a great family film. be on the lookout for certain little Disney cameos, especially one that goes by sooooo fast that if you blink you'll miss it. you will hear a familiar sound from one of these Pixar shorts. now that i mention this, everyone will probably go through there Pixar movies just to find out what i'm talking about. (evil laugh hahahaha!)

anywho..... "Cars" is a great movie. my favorite character is Mater, the rusty tow truck played by Larry the Cable Guy. he was excellent. Git-R-Done!! i think i was the only one in the theatre that got that line. no one else reacted the way i did.

well, i hope i was helpful to those who want to see the movie. it's a great movie overall. it was also great seeing the advanced screening because State Farm, the sponsor, gave out car visors. woo-hoo, free visor! lol.

Thanks for the review, Tragic!!!! I want to take my 4 1/2 year old to see it!!!!! BTW, did John Ratzenberger make his usual cameo????? He is in every Pixar movie!!!

Thanks for the review tragic. At first, I didn't think I was going to be interested in seeing this movie, but after seeing the 1,000 previews on the disney channel, I am wanting to go check it out for myself...man those disney people know how to get you sucked in to something..lol
