free "Cars" cards:
I was in the Disney Store today brfore work, and it seems they are running a promotion for a free pack of 9 trading cards for the movie "Cars"! The woman at the register said that not many people know about the promotion, and they have a lot of packs of these cards!
She told me that you have to bring in your ticket stub from the opening weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.......ONLY!) With a lot of folks not knowing about the promotion, I'm hoping that they will just hand out the packs of cards if you ask nicely! I'm gonna try next time I go in! Anybody else hear of this promotion?

I threw away my ticket stub yesterday...grr.

I did not know about that! I wish I had cause I am going to the Disney Store tommorrow and we saw Cars on it's opening night. DD got a really cute pin, but no coupon for cards or cards!

I enjoyed the movie, The CG backgrounds and race track graphics were very cool. Good story and humor. I'd give it a 8.5 out of 10. I think I'll see it again at a drive-in.

Well, I didn't get to the disney Store today!
But I will try to get there before the weekend! I'm gonna ask them if they can just give me a pack! It never hurts to try!

If anyone has Radio Disney's in your town, the radio station got a bunch of these card packs as well. In the DFW area, the station is giving them away at all the Radio Disney Cars promotions that they are doing. If you are not sure if you have a Radio Disney in your area, go to RadioDisney.com and you can get a list of all the stations.

Well, we saw Cars today, I LOVED IT...
But, we ended up at the Disney store afterwards, for something unrelated, and I asked the cashier about the cards, and even showed her my stub from today, but when she asked the manager, they told me NO! She did mention something about a coupon with an offer for free cards though. Oh well.
