OK, I'm not just saying this because it's not a Disney film, but..
....I watched Ice Age 2 on the plane home from Italy today, and man, that was the worst piece of garbage ever. I mean, I can't think of a worse animated feature.
Sorry for the negativity, but it 's just one of those things that makes you appreciate Disney all the more.

ROFL - I never bothered with IA2. I like 1, but knew 2 would be worthless, as most sequals are.

ROFL - Joey and I watched IceAge (the first one) this morning!! It's just okay. He loves the part where the squirrell gets electricuted.

I actually didn't hate Ice Age 2. Obviously not on par with Disney but I've definitely seen worse.

I think the thing that disappointed me the most was the abundance of "potty language" and other bad words. I just don't think those things belong in movies geared towards kids. You can be funny without cussing.

I got stuck watching IA2 on a flight too. They felt sorry for us being stuck on a the taxi way for 2+ hour so they showed it for free.
It was truly awful...It was on my rent list so I'm glad I got to witness the horror for free.

I actually LOVED Ice Age 2. I do have to admit that I didn't see the first one though so nothing to compare it to. It does have some adult hidden content, but nothing my kids caught on to. I think I laughed more than they did!!!

IA1 was good. My kids still enjoy it.
I took them to see IA2 in the theater (a rare treat), and I did not care for it. Even the kids got bored with it in the end.

We just recently went to a "movie in the park" that our local town hall does as a summer family treat every week. It was suppossed to be Curious George, but they ended up playing Ice Age 2. As it started, people began to walk out, and that pattern continued through the feature. At the end, I completely understood why!
