Rookie List

I am taking my sister and her friend to Disney in March. This will be Mo's first trip - ever. My sister has not been in a long time.

I need to compile a list of 'Must see' movies for them to start watching. Movies which have a ride/attraction associated with them.

For example, if they have never watched "Lilo and Stitch" (and they haven't), the ride will be a drag - it will make no sense.

PoC will be more enjoyable if they have seen the movies, too. The only other one which comes to mind is 'Finding Nemo'.

So load me up kids. What do we recommend?

Re: Rookie List

Do you want to bother with HAUNTED MANSION? The ride vastly surpasses the film.

Do you know I have never watched that film? I heard such bad things. Is it worth it? The ride kind of stands alone.

I like to think of it as two hours of my life that I'll never get back again.

Re: Rookie List

You can always check on videos online. Go to Google video and enter Disney. You will see lots of park and ride videos.

Re: Rookie List

True guys, but I'm looking for your Disney Experience. My first answer to them was to watch all of them. They asked for a ranking. So as winter moves in to our area, and they can curl up in front of the tv, I want to compile the 'Must see" list. Without seeing the movie, the Stitch ride would be unappreciated.

Re: Rookie List

Then I guess you need to get a list of rides at the parks you are visiting and check out the movie associated with it.

I think woohoo's list is pretty good to start.

No you're not...well not for that reason j/k

Regardless...I don't think one needs to see the movie in order to enjoy the ride. It was a ride(just like POC) long before it was a movie.

I think Finding Nemo, Lilo and Stitch(of course) and a Bugs Life are especially important to see prior to experiencing the attractions that feature the characters from each.

Prior to experiencing the attractions? What are you a tour guide?
