Today, Friday, December 22, 2006, we are privileged to welcome on our TIME TRAVEL Radio Show --

actor and voice artist, Eddie Carroll.

Eddie has been the voice of Jiminy Cricket for Disney since 1973, after the wonderful (and troubled) Cliff Edwards passed away in 1971.

As Jiminy, Eddie Carroll has worked on such projects as MICKEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, HOUSE OF MOUSE, and the KINGDOM HEARTS video games.

Eddie is also acclaimed for his one-man show as legendary radio and TV star, Jack Benny.

For part of the show today, we will be interviewing Benny expert Eddie in his persona of Jack Benny.

Now, Phil Harris (the voice of bears Baloo and Little John for Disney, as well as cat O'Malley) was a regular on JACK BENNY on the radio, so that's a connection between Benny and Disney. (Jack visited Walt himself on one of Jack's specials in the sixties.) At the least, I'm sure that "Jack" will mention Phil Harris today in some capacity.

The rest of the show, we will talk to Eddie about other highlights of his career, and of course, that will include Jiminy Cricket.
