The Little Mermaid 3
I cannot wait to get The Little Mermaid 3 for my niece. Has any info been released on it? Ive been looking but I can't find any news.

The third installment of The Little Mermaid franchise will follow the story of Ariel's mother, Athena, and provide backstory for Ariel herself. The film is essentially a prequel, and is rumoured to also feature a plot explaining why Triton is against Ursula. The characters of Melody (Ariel's daughter) and Morgana (sister of deceased Ursula) will not be featured in the film, although Tara Strong will be playing various other parts, and Pat Carroll will be reprising her role as Ursula. The movie is pitched as a combination of drama, passion, romance, and despair, all communicated through Disney's classic use of animation and song.

I'm a BIG mermaid fan, but worried that a sequel will ruin it. I never saw the second one. Did you enjoy that one?
