Thanks, everyone, for all of the encouragement! It will seem more real when we get the tickets and the final details in the mail. I'll be sure to post all of the details when it's over. I must say, though, that I'd rather be planning a trip to Disney World. I sure enjoy reading all of those cool trip reports and other info. that continues to be posted. Keep it up!!!

I'm including a photo of the line (if it works) at the open casting call. At least it was a beautiful day!

I wanted to check tnmom and kids. I read on TMZ that there was a Ferris Wheel accident during a Hannah Montana movie shoot. I remembered the kids were called back to be extras for a "country fair" scene. Not sure if this is the shoot they were involved with. I HOPE EVERYTHING IS OK!

I don't want to post the article because in typical TMZ fashion it is over the top and ugly (bad words too). Basically said a collision caused a few cables on the ferris wheel to go haywire, striking several of the people on the ride. Medics on the scene quickly took the injured people to a local hospital -- where they received treatment for minor injuries.

Again, hope all is well with tnmom & kids.

Hello, and thanks for the concern and the info. I'll have to look this up via some mainstream news and see what I can find out. We're actually going tomorrow, and it's supposed to be hot as blazes! I'll have to keep the kiddos away from the ferris wheel!!! I'll let you know how it goes.

They filmed a whole bunch of scenes in Columbia, TN and a fair scene in Westmoreland in the last couple of weeks. It was all over the news here. Kids were proudly waving their "golden tickets". It was on the news when MIley went to Green hills Mall in Nashville and went to the Gap. They even told you what she and her mom purchased (Mom purchased a whole outfit because she was hot, and miley purchased tank tops). The girl can't even shop in peace.
