Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
I will be waiting for the next rainy day after this weekend. It does look like a good movie.

WE ARE!!!!
Amazingly enough, as we were driving past the cinema on the way to work this morning 6-2-6 and I saw that Wall-e had actually made it down to our island for opening day. We're going to the late show tonight. ![]()

It's not often that the "big" movies make it here for opening day. The Simpsons Movie did, but it's much more the exception than the rule.

Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
I just got back. It was really cute. There was not much dialog, and I had to explain to my 8 and 6 year olds what was happening through part of the movie. I could see where it would be a little over the heads of pre-schoolers...
There was one girl in our movie that kept saying out-loud that she wanted to go home-but she sounded very little (maybe even Ariel would not have gotten her attention)... Also, there were some not so subtle messages in there as well... Overall, It was fun!

I'm hoping to see it with bwm8184 tonight! It looks too cute! Even the older grad students in lab with me want to see it.

Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
ok, I am a little slow on the uptake, but was John Ratzenberger in this movie??? I cannot remember, and I think that has has been in all of the other PIXAR movies!
If you are going anytime soon, try to remember, ok? Thanks!

Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
I am trying desparately to find a sitter for the twins (2 yo), so we can take our DD5 to see it. She has been asking to have a "date" with mom and dad to go see it for about 2 months now. I really hope we can make it!

Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
We took our DGS (11) & DGD (7) to see it. She fell asleep. I asked DGS if he would like to see it again? He said NO! I asked if he would like the DVD when it came out? Again, he said NO! My DH nor I really cared for it either. I like most Pixar & Disney movies, but this one was a let down for us. The little show before the main movie was cute. The kids got their free watches, too.

Re: Who is going to see Wall-e today?
We saw it last week and LOVED it! I love Wall-E
. My DH even liked it and he is tough to please. He is just so cute and the message was a good one. Wall-E and Eve Oh, and how cute is M-O? Pixar hits another one out of the park. Oh, and John Ratzenberger is a character named "John."
