disney never makes a sad ending...but they make you want for the happy ending so, so bad, that when you finally get it....you are so happy, you could almost cry! LOL

bella, you & dave will enjoy it...it was beautifully done!

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

Another AWESOME disney/Pixar film!
I'd have to rank this one up hight on my list.

Our theatre was giving away the watches as well as a really cool "wall-e combo" with a nice cup, popcorn bucket and tray all re-useable with wall-e's pictures and logo.

Go early. We went to the 1:50 show yesterday and it was packed. My DH got up once just before the show started and he almost lost his seat twice.

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

We saw it yesterday. I guess I'm the only one that left the theater feeling a little disappointed. I liked it, but I guess I was just expecting more from Pixar.

I agree with you, I loved it, but I expected a little more as well. I do not think it is for little kids, like mine (2 and 3). I wish it was and I think for this reason, I was a little disappointed.

I still am in love with Wall-E. He is so darn cute!!

Lol.

Volde and I went to the 9:15 show. There were less than a dozen in the theater..

But, I have to say, one of the best PIXAR movies I've ever seen. Makes me regret not buying PIXAR stock after I saw TinToy..

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

They said on the news that there were no human voices in the film. The only spoken lines were done by computer. Sounded pretty cool.

I think I'll wait for this one to go to DVD. There are SO many films this summer that I am dying to see, this one is pretty far down the list since I don't have little kids anymore.

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

Well this is funny: I just got back from seeing it after all!
DH announced tonight he really wanted to see it after reading abotu it, so off we went.
I must have misunderstood the no human voices part. Clearly they must have said something like none of the lead characters had human voices.

It was very cute, had some good laughs in it too. Not a classic like some of the other Pixar films, but it was quite admirable when you paid attention to the infinitesimal details in there. I missed seeing the pizza planet truck. Will need to see it again.

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

I just got back and I am IN LOVE! I thought it was def. one of the better kids movies I have seen in awhile! I cried, (ok, so I'm pregnant and I also cried during the Rabbit thing when he couldnt get his carrot but....) they were happy tears though!

Did anyone notice the "Support our Troops" ribbon being cubed up with a pile of junk. That sort of disturbed me a bit!

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

We saw it last night on an ultrascreen . . . very huge and way cool. Anyway, what a creative, well-done movie!! DH and I really enjoyed it. DS was disappointed. He didn't think it was funny enough. I think the humor was a little too subtle for him . . . he likes the obvious, slap-stick kind of stuff. He also wanted them to talk more. It's kind of a complex movie that went over his head. I think if he sees it again he'll get it. I, on the other hand, love Wall-E. He's so adorable!!!

That's funny! We went back by the theater about 7 as we were headed home and the parking lot was FULL. There were more cars there than I had ever seen so I don't know how full the shows were then because they had 3 different theaters/screens in this one theater running every 30-50 minutes.

I agree, it's not at the top of my Pixar list but it was a cute movie.
