Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

I loved it! I thought Wall-E was the cutest thing. It was very different than most Disney-Pixar movies I think. But wow, did that movie have an obvious message....I can see why it would go straight over children's heads. Definitely an adorable movie worth seeing!

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

We just got back from seeing the movie. It was adorable and creative compared to most other kids movies, but still not at the top of my list like some others have mentioned.

I took my DD5 and DS3 and I think my DS3 was bored with it because it was too subtle. He prefers a Madagascar type movie!

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

I was in love with Wall-E about 5 minutes into the movie! It was such a cute story with meaning, but the message is definitely for those who are about 10+.

But, I have to say the short film with the bunny before the movie was the funniest thing I've seen in a very long time!

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

Me, my friend, and my brother went and saw it today. At the end I got a little sad but I knew it wouldn't be a sad ending because it was Disney. My brother, who is 8, didn't think it was that great but I don't think he fully understood all of it. Me and my friend loved it.

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

Maybe its just me but I didn't really care for it. I loved the characters, they were so cute, but I really didn't like the story line. Its not going down as one of my favorites. I just thought it was drab and depressing.
I was very disappointed as I had really high hopes for this movie after seeing the previews several times. We usually love all the Disney movies, especially the Pixar ones. We were 4 adults that went.....one loved it, one didn't and two thought it was just so so. Just our opinions
The kids in the theatre clapped at the end so they must have liked it.

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

I absolutely loved Wall-E, though I agree that most of it would probably be enjoyed more by older children and adults. The storyline could be a little depressing, but I think if you look at it the right way its meant to provide hope; showing you what the world could become, but letting you know that we still have a chance, like at the end of the movie when all the little plants are growing again.
Wall-E of course was adorable, I absolutely love him. The robots in need of repair were hilarious (kind of reminded me of me and my friends ) and I loved the fight between the captain and the autopilot, very intense
(I'm trying not to give too much away for anyone who hasn't seen it yet..)
Long story short, I thought it was very funny, very cute, and I will definitely be buying the DVD. And a Wall-E, as soon as I find a store that sells one

Re: Just got home from seeing Wall-E...

We saw it on Sunday! My DH and I loved it....my DS4 liked it too. He was happy to get the watch.

"Presto" the pixar short that they showed before the movie was SUPER cute!
My DS4 was laughing so hard.....it was the first time I've ever seen him laugh out loud at a movie!!!
