I finally brought 101 dalmations today for the bargain cost of £7.99 sterling ( so about $14 I guess in exchange rates?) anyway whilst I was on there ordering the dvd, I noticed there is a new Little Mermaid dvd coming out which is like a prequel to the original :

wow...didn't know anything about that new little mermaid. I know she's your favorite and I am excited for you, but I just can't get into the add-ons to these classic Disney movies..they are mostly poorly done. I hope this one is good for your benefit.

I do understand what you mean. It can get so out of hand all these new releases etc and they are not as good as the originals true. However, it is in my blood to collect them ( esp Ariel ones) so can't help myself! I hopoe it is good though...I never heard anything about this until a few days ago so I was very suprised too!

I just saw a preview for this the other day....and I have to admit I groaned and rolled my eyes.
 I hope it turns out great, and that a lot of people love it! But I know for a fact I just won't watch it...I cannot get myself interested in a straight-to-DVD sequel for anything.
