See, that's funny. I don't see Tinkerbell as a 'squeky clean' character at all. Besides all the wonderful things about her she's also jealous, spiteful, & competitive. Even accourding to Disney's character archive on-line (Disney Archives | Tinker Bell Character History) Marc Davis was rumored to have modeled her image after Marilyn Monroe; even if it wasn't Marilyn no one can deny her original 'pin-up' style physique & appeal.

Do I think there should even BE a live action Tink... no. But I have always been against this WAY watered-down new CGI version of Tink. I personally think she's lost A LOT of that original 'feistyness' & inspiration over the years but then again I'd never be happy with anything except the original.

I know I am in the minority here but Tink is not a princess; she's wasn't originally (Disney-wise, not Barrie) 'squeky clean,' polite, maternal, nor innocent.

Sorry to follow on, but its Sunday and not many seem to be here, so just to say I am with you in minority corner Jess- and the thing is, it is going to be very difficult these days for Disney to hire any young actress who has a squeaky clean image/past/background etc- just look at the girl from HSM, Britney Spears,Jess Simpson etc- it has to be considered that these are 'real' people with real lives who just happen to be portraying fictional characters, and in Tinkerbell's case, a character that has been adapted to suit Disney rather than the original character as written by Barrie.

Whoa.... isn't that the Playboy Mansion show?

Personally, I think it wouldn't be a very good idea to cast a playboy bunny as Tinkerbelle in a children's movie. Idk.... that's just me.

I do agree that Tink isn't an innocent little fairy, though. I just don't think we should be introducing our children to Playboy Bunnies, either. I envision rather "clean" actress who does a good job playing a bratty fairy.

I think Holly Madison would make a great Tinkerbell looks-wise but I know Disney would never hire someone with her resume which is a shame, because she is pretty awsome! I love watching Girls Next Door and she's more than just a chest!!
I can imagine them picking Tisdale though for the part - but I can't see the live action idea working!

Well thats a parents own personal choice isn't it? However, I do envision trying to find a 'clean' actress to play Tinkerbell would be a Disney production in itself!!

Well, yes, but I was speaking "we" as in the Disney Company... that I'm not a part of. I don't know. I don't even have kids. If someone wants their little girl to idolize women who sleep with an old man, that's cool with me. However, I don't think it would be "Disney-appropriate."

they better not cast her as tinker bell. the film will not make disney any money and would be a laughing stock! they ought to look into tinker bell in pixie hollow down in WDW to play herself in the movie instead of paris hilton.

sorry, but I haven't seen any photos where I was impressed with the Tinks in pixie hollow.
