about Runaway Brain

Does anyone here know anything about runaway brain? Why cant i find it anywhere in nothing but horrible quality? How badly is it wanted? How much do you think I would have to pay theoretically if I could find someone who has it? I think I found someone who says he has it in DVD quality but he has not quoted me a price and he keeps making a big deal about "no captions" did it have captions when it aired for kid in king arthurs court? Are there different versions? Please let me know.
Thanks

I did some research on this and found that the short film, which was released with "A kid in King Arthurs Court" was never released on video. There is speculation that the Disney Co. distanced itself from it because it depicted Mickey in, what some considered, "A less then favorable light". There are a number of sites which offer movie posters. It appears that there may have been a laser disc issued in Japan which has it, this maybe why the fellow you contacted made a big deal about the subtitles. It maybe a bootleg from the Japanese issue with other voices dubbed on it. The cast included the voice talent of Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frankenollie.:)

I aksed him to get into more detail about it, everything you said is right, or is the same as what he says but he said that in japan it is still rare and but it has been "messed with" and has subtitles over the cartoon. He says his is in english with no subtitles and is in widescreen.
Why would it be in widescreen? any chance its a boot of the actual kid in king arthurs court reel? How much should I offer for a copy on dvd? please help? how much is it worth?

I'd hold out a bit longer and see if the Mickey Mouse: In Living Color II Treasure coming end of this year will include it. I know many people who are hoping so.
