We bought the new Lion King 1 1/2 on Disney DVD and really enjoyed the movie. It has the same voices for the characters, like Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Whoopi Goldberg, and many more. It has some good extras for the kids, like the virtual safari ride, which takes some of the best rides at Disney, and put animals in them. I say that if you like the first Lion King, then you will also enjoy this as well:)

i just got my copy of "lion king 1 1/2" yesterday and absolutely loved it! my fiance rob and i watched it and just couldn't stop laughing. hearing those familiar voices again, matthew broderick, nathan lane, etc, really made watching the movie more enjoyable than ever! good job, disney, and timon and pumbaa for making such a wonderful movie!

Has anybody out there experienced a Lion King 1 1/2 DVD that freezes for a second every once in a while? I'm not talking about the parts where Pumba and Timon "stop the film" or the hidden mickey game....the movie just "freezes" randomly and then continues on.

This is our second DVD...and really, we're not crazy. Our DVD player is pretty new and we've never experienced this before. We brought it back to Walmart and are trying again...could they have manufactured a bad batch?

This could possibly be one of the funniest animated movies out there. For anyone who won't buy it because it is a Disney sequal should seriously reconsider. The animation is just about the same quality, the music is wonderful, the story is great, and the jokes are hilarious. One easy way to describe it is that it is like an animated George of the Jungle. Everyone should buy it. I have no idea what Jobs was talking about it when he called it horrible. See for yourself what a true sequal should be!

For the bad DVD, If it happens again, try it on a different DVD player (maybe a relative's or friend's). If it works on theirs, it is your player.
