Visa Deals?
So I just applied for my Disney Visa, and I'm wondering what are the chances of some great deal coming along before Feb 2006? It seems as though there haven't been a lot of offers lately. Does this seem to be a temporary thing, or does the Disney Visa just not get you the kind of deals it once did?
Any thoughts?  |

I have had the card since it first came out.
There haven't been many WDW offers since last year around this same timeframe. There really isn't enough history with the card to "guess" on any future discounts. Looks like the card is at least good for racking up the reward dollars.

We have been card members since day one. We got a great pay for 4, stay for 7 deal in 2003. Then they came out with the same deal for 2004 but only for new cardholders. So, I got a new card in DH name and we got that same sweet deal again. There has been nothing new or that good since then, but there have been a couple of offers for DL. I'm guessing and hoping that they should offer something for the summer/fall season,as that what was done in the past 2 years but no one ever knows for sure.

I haven't gotten any good offers lately from my Disney Visa, but hopefully some will be coming out soon. In 2003, I booked our Feb. 2004 trip and got the deal where the kids stay and play for free. Since we did the UPH's we saved on the kids tickets which was nice.

Welcome to DC, hlauburn. I agree with everyone here, there haven't been any discounts in a year. With all the Magic Your Way stuff out I am not expecting too many general discounts this year. Every bill I get includes 2-4 ads in it, read those and keep your fingers crossed, something may come out

We haven't gotten any good Disney Visa deals except the normal reward dollars. We have had the card since August 2004. We are moving to Hawaii in June so we have discussed getting rid of it and getting an airlines rewards card instead.
Disney dollars are nice but we'd rather have something we'd use more often since living in Hawaii, we have to fly any time we want to go somewhere off island. I really wish they'd come up w/ some better benefits to owning a Disney Visa..as of now, 1% in Disney DOllars just isn't enough of a draw for us to keep the card at this point.
