Icon14 6 Months-No Interest on trips

When did they change the rules on the 6 months/no interest perk? I have used this before for trips to Orlando, but the CS person from Bank One just told me it is only good for DisneyLAND or Disney Vacation Club, not DisneyWORLD. I went to the website to try to explain to her where I read that offer, and I can't find it any more. Is it right in front of me, or did they take it away???

Re: 6 Months-No Interest on trips

I think they were mistaken. The fact they said DVC indicated they didn't know what they were talking about. Here is the text directly from them:
Quote:
You will automatically receive the 0% APR for up to 6 months on purchases of qualifying Disney vacation packages, provided that any payment on your account is not past due at the time of purchase. Chase allocates payments to promotional and introductory balances with low APR's before applying payments to higher APR balances. This means the length of time that you receive the 0% APR will vary based on the amount of your monthly payments and the APR's on other balances on this account. Valid for certain U.S. Theme Park ticket-inclusive Disney vacation packages (minimum three nights at Walt Disney World® / two nights at Disneyland® Resorts) and all Disney Cruise Line® packages of $101 up to a maximum of $10,000 per transaction charged to Disney's Visa® Card prior to your arrival and booked by you or your travel agent through Walt Disney Travel Company or Disney Cruise Line®.

Re: 6 Months-No Interest on trips

They must be mistaken, we just used this perk a few months ago when we paid the balance on our trip.

Re: 6 Months-No Interest on trips

We've been getting bombarded with Disney credit card offers for weeks now that offer no interest on ANY purchases until next June, so they're really pushing it.

Re: 6 Months-No Interest on trips

I finally talked to someone with a brain at Visa, and he happened to be from their Orlando office. He said as long as my agent books my trip through Disney (not United Vacations, etc.) it will come through with no interest for 6 months automatically. He was really nice, and even gave me a phone number for my agent to use to expedite things. (If anyone's interested, it was 407-828-8101.) Thanks for the input, everyone, I was in a panic.
