another rewards question

I didn't see this particular question addressed anywhere, or I just missed it. Can reward dollars be used to pay for a reservation/package through a Disney agent? If so, how is that done? Do you give them the card number or what? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Yes you can use points to pay for vacations. I believe they only let you accumulate 750 "Disney Reward Dollars". I believe you must call Visa to get the rewards card and then you call in to the Disney Agent giving the rewards card number like a credit card.

Don't forget they may also give you 0% for a certain length of time if you use your Disney Visa to pay for your trip. I'm not sure if this is if you pay for the whole trip or portions.

Thanks. That's what I was hoping. Some of our reward points expire before we actually go on the cruise so I want to use them to help pay for the cruise. We'll definitely use the Visa to pay for the rest of the cruise! Then we can start all over to save reward points for the next trip!

(I see an addictive pattern here . . . )

Reward cards are issued from visa so I am not sure how all that would work. Can you get 2 cards from Visa? Or can you buy Disney Dollar (Paper certificates) in Disney? No idea there. GOOD QUESTION!

We have been getting solicitation emails for this card since before it actually even came out... we never did it, and now I am sad, when I see those discounts coming down to cardholders! BUMMER!

Don't forget that until Sept of '06 to go to the Disney Visa character interaction at Innoventions West(I think that was it-the Inn. closest to The Land pavilion). You will get a free photo from Photo Pass. The first time I did it with my mother,we got our pictures taken with Mickey,Minnie and Goofy all at the same time. The second time I did it,it was Goofy and Minnie.

Oh,another thing: you do realize that to get 750 reward dollars in a year you have to charge 75 THOUSAND dollars?
