New Discount Just Announced!!

Disney Visa Discounted Package for Early 2007
Disney is offering discounted packages for stays 1/1/07-3/8/07 (1/12/07-1/14/07 may be blacked out). The packages include discounted accommodations and Magic Your Way tickets, plus FREE Park Hopper and Water Park Fun and More ticket upgrades.

You must book no later than 12/16/06, using a Disney Rewards Visa card. No group rates or other discounts apply. The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Tickets and options must be used within 14 days of first use. Water Parks subject to seasonal and weather closures.

A similar package for the general public is expected to be released 11/2/06.

It just saved us over $500 on our next trip!!!

Mickey changed my reservation this morning and saved me about $450 plus we get upgraded water park tickets.

It will probably be too cold for the water park but yeah on the $450!

More money to spend in the park!!

So when they say there are blackout dates, does that mean if you are there for a week that includes those dates you don't get any discount?

From what I have been seeing, there only seems to be a problem if you are trying to check in between 1/12 - 14. I have had several reservations I have redone today that encompassed those dates, but were checking in earlier, and I had no problem with any of them.

Yes! They had the same deal last January and we checked in before the blackout dates and we were good to go.

Well, just called and changing won't do me any good because we will be in a 2 room suite and the discount is not valid for that.
