reward card for tips?

Does anyone know if you can use your Disney Visa Reward Card for restaurant tips and/or alcohol drinks (since they're not on the dining plan) during meals?

I would think so, we've used it for meals and tips before.

Yes, you can. We just did that at the beginning of Jan. We were on the dining plan and used our rewards card to pay for our tips the entire trip. It would have been nice to use all of those rewards for souveniers, but at least we didn't have to come up with all of those tips out of pocket! They will ask you to write the tip amount in on the receipt and then they took the dining and rewards cards at the same time to process them together.

Can't we cash them in for Disney Dollars. too? That would be easier to manage (for me).

I have definitely used mine for alcohol and tips when on the DDP in the past. We are planning on using ours for food on the next trip!

Yes, I think you can purchase Disney Dollars with your Rewards Card. I'm not sure of the locations, but will check.

You should be able to use your Disney Rewards Card to buy Disney Dollars anywhere they sell Disney Dollars...Guest Relations and maybe WOD store at DTD.

Thanks for this...it was very helpfu. we have almost $500 so we should be good for tips, etc. and souvenires...i will probably go overboard on those since i won't actually be "handing over" the $$$

Go to the www.chase.com When you get to the site you'll have to login, when your information comes up, click on Manage My Rewards. The site will tell you how many rewards you have and will direct you how to redeem them. It's very easy.
