on the one we received yesterday, the fine print said it was not combinable with any other offer, which I would assume (even though we all know what happens then!) that means any specials (like the 100 pts AKV) DVC offers...
Anyone have a different idea on this??

A few weeks ago our friends received this offer from Disney Rewards too and also used their card for their DVC downpayment...they did NOT receive both...it's an either/or deal...can't get both incentives. (they received points at a discounted rate and received Disney Gift Cards from DVC for purchasing but could not get the extra rewards points on their card) They talked to both DVC and VISA rewards and got the same story...would have been nice to get both!

Now that I think of it, last Nov when I was really looking into it, I was being offered the discounted point rate (or $1600 off the purchase price), PLUS I was contacted by my DVC consultant a few weeks later about the 500 visa pts that I could take advantage of too. I think there was also something about 160 bonus points, I don't know but it was a really great deal in my mind at the time, now the details are a little foggy...

I registered for the 5X rewards but I don't know that I'll ever reach the target. I do spend more the $250 monthly on groceries but shop at WalMart and Target and they don't list themselves as groceries on the Visa statement. Darn.

I registered also. Got a post card in the mail with a code. Went online to their website and they asked for the code. I would suggest just calling them to see if you can sign up that way, if you didn't get the post card.

Me too . . . I registered when I got the code a week or two ago, but I only buy about a third of my groceries at the grocery store and buy the rest at Target or Walmart. I don't think I'll reach the target either, but I'll try.

Yes, me too. The postcard also said the code is nontransferable, so you will definitely need to call to see if you qualify for the code.

I just got a letter from Disney Visa saying that that promo was sent to specific card holders based on their spending habits, so basically I spend too much on mine and won't be offered the promo.

A few months ago I called to see why I haven't received the offer and I was told it was random to who they offer it to. I think it's because I already use my card alot. It makes me mad though - I would love the extra reward points too!

Has anyone called to see if you can get the offer even if it wasn't sent to you? I too charge EVERYTHING to the card to get the rewards. I just searched everywhere to see if I got it, but no luck :(

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but when I looked today at my bank's "Disney Offers" they listed pretty good discounts on MNSSHP:

Cardmember discount price of $25 applies select nights:
10/3, 10/16, 10/22, 10/23, 10/28 and 10/29.

Advanced ticket price of $29 applies all other nights, except Halloween:
10/10, 10/17, 10/24 and 10/30 ticket price is $29.

On Halloween, (10/31), ticket price is $37.

For purchase on day of event, ticket price is $37.

Event times:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6:30 – 10:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 – 11:30 pm

Call 714-781-4400 and mention the Disney Rewards Visa.
It did not say how long the promotion was going on.
