Has anyone ever used a Disney Visa Package code after already having a trip booked?

I booked my trip a while ago. I put a $200 deposit using my Dis Visa card, but all the payments I have made since were by check. I have less than 1/2 of my total balance left to pay.

If a code comes out for Dis Visa cardholders - do you have to pay for the WHOLE trip using the cc or can it just be a deposit?

I want to be prepared for when the time comes .

You have to pay for the whole trip with your DV.
At least we had to. We are going for free dining and used the DV code and had to use the card for all the payments.

I used a code when i had only paid the deposit which I had put on my DVC. I did however pay the rest of my bill with my card however at the time of using my code they didn't know I was going to do it. I hope I didn't confuse you.

I see what you're saying. You booked it by putting a deposit using on your cc - but after that you weren't told that you HAD to use your cc for the balance. Is that right?
