Re: Off site hotels

Yeah but that's just a special promotion they have going on right now. Usually they start at about $77..... Still not a bad deal and you get to be on property YAY!!!

Re: Off site hotels

If you watch the rates, it is pretty seasonal. I have seen those rates dip a few times. In the slower times you get great rates to start with, then add a Disney Visa rate or other promo and you have a REALLY cheap rate! You will not however see those rates during peak park times. But if you are willing to travel in off seasons it is a great deal!

Speaking of really offsite hotels...
I think we may be staying onsite for the DL segment of the trip!!! YAY! Thanks to DV rewards! We are thinking about staying near/on the ocean for a couple days. We would love to see/ stay near Santa Monica ... Anyone have experience with the Santa Monica Travel Lodge?I have seen several reviews but would like more info... ....Any great cheaper hotels in that area?

Re: Off site hotels

I can wholeheartedly recommend both the Hilton Garden and the Sheraton Anaheim.

Both are really nice hotels with good facilities. They also provide courtesy buses to DL.

The Sheraton just edges my vote because the restaurant is excellent.

Re: Off site hotels

I agree, The Sheraton Anaheim is a great hotel. Even if you don't feel like waiting around for transpo, you can still walk the short distance to the parks.

Re: Off site hotels

Candy Cane is a nice smaller hotel with shuttle and in walking distance. They have an upscale section now also I have not seen. The grounds are always kept very nice, lots of plants and flowers everywhere.
