Have any of you bought or started to order any Disneyland 50th Annniversary stuff? They've started to sell some stuff in DTD and in the Emporium. BTW, will they be selling any DLR 50th Anniversary stuff at WDW? j/w. :-)

As far as I know, they will be celebrating DL's 50th in all the parks. You know they will have some kind of merchandise for it. Have you ever known Disney to not promote such a big celebration without mega merchandise?

They've had "Disneyland 1955" "Disneyland 55" "Disneyland...The Original" "Disneyland...50 years of Magic" stuff in the park stores for a while now... Stuff like that?

How will WDW and all the other parks be celebrating Disneyland's 50th? (aside from selling stuff, of course)

I can't imagine celebrating it without being there.... I wonder how many WDW die-hards will be making a first-time trek to Disneyland next year?!

Disney is celebrating that DL's 50th in all of the parks with new attractions opening in all of the parks. I don't know if there will be a parade for this or not, but I wouldn't be surprised. I guess maybe the merchandise and the rides are the celebration? Got me...we'll see as may 05 gets closer I guess.

Yea, what I mainly mean is the actual Disneyland 50th Anniversary merchandise like with the actual 50th logo and that sort. But yea. Their also sellings pens and pencils and pins and pins lanyards and shirts (blue and white with the 50th logo) and coffee mugs and post cards, well just about anything you could think of. :-)

Disneyland will have a whole new unique parade and firework show. I dont think any of the other parks will. I know WDW is getting a new show from like DLP or DL Tokyo called like the Cinderella celebration or something in that sort. :-)

I heard they are having three merchandise "Phases" each one with a different theme..anyone else heard any news about this?

Wow i love that 50s looking stuff! I hope they do, I will be spending lots of money on that. That clock would look great with this framed Disneyland poster that I have from the 50s

Also I have heard that WDW will have Soarin over California in Disney Studios. Of course it will just be called Soarin, for some reason. Also there is some stunt show at the studios as well.

It's actually already open (Soarin'), but it's in Epcot. There is a review of it in the WDW forum up above.
