Car Rental?????

My best wishes to all! I have a question that I need a little advise on...do you guys think it wise or unwise to rent a car on-line or wait until we get to California? Will I get a better deal by booking ahead or does it really matter? We will be staying at the Candy Cane Inn so we are really close to the park and local restaurants...but we will be needing a car for our 5 day stay. We will be wanting a full size car for our family of four. Any recommendations or input would be greatly appreciated.....

I have never had a problem booking a rental online. However, if I were you, I would stick with the major chains like Budget, Dollar, Avis & Hertz. Wally's Rent-a-Reck might not be you best choice.

I would also suggest that you visit mousesavers.com Shop around on-line to get your best price.
They have great codes that you can apply to your car rental and this should save you some money. (Many of the same codes work for CA and FL.)

I always book online and have no problems. Be sure to check around for discount codes or use a search engine like orbitz or travelocity to find a good deal.

Rent online and go to www.mousesaver.com. They have discount codes and tips to use. I have a current reservation for Orlando with a Mid-Size (Intermediate) from National for $118.00 for a week.

All I can tell you is that by booking online I personally usually save money. Also there is a coupon and code for Avis is the front of the Official California visitors guide that you can get online. It is supposed to save something like $40.00.

We booked online when we went to California and had no trouble. In fact it turned out good because we were supposed to be charged the under 25 fee (an extra $90 plus tax), but they forgot to charge that....darn

I think you can get better deals if you book in advance.
