Onsite/Close/Driving Distance

My friends all seem to have different places in Anaheim they like to stay.

The one's we've invited with us, say they won't stay anywhere but onsite.

We stayed within Driving Distance on our last trip, and the hotel was cool, and she drove us there and back
But if I were there with anyone else I would have stayed a couple blocks away...ie close.

My question basically is, have any of you had this problem?
Where half of your group does not want to stay in the same hotel as you?

no I have never had this problem, but just an idea, we will be staying at the anaheim desert inn and it literally right across the street. less than a 5 minute walk to the front gate and it's cheap. you don't even need to drive there it's soooo close... try and check it out! we got a 2 bedroom suite for $129 a night! www.anaheimdesertinn.com if you have AAA it's a little cheaper too! It's actually closer than PP and DLR to the front gate! Just an idea!
