It's Official! Grand Californian!
This is where the excitement and planning begins!! I just got off the phone with DVC member services & guess who's going to be staying at the Grand Californian for 3 nights in June? YAY, that would be DH and I.
I am really excited, ever since this resort opened I had my eye on it and to finally getting to stay there is SOOO exciting   Everything else will keep me busy for the next, ummmmm, 9 months  We still have to book...- airfare - hotel in Vegas (about 90% sure of Bellagio) -hotel in Palm Springs (were 100% sure on Welcome Pepper Tree Inn - Palm Springs Perfect) -Cirque tickets for Vegas (not sure "O" or "Love") - book an eco/adventure tour for Joshua Tree National Park - get Disneyland tickets Look at how pretty that lobby is!! It reminds me of the lodge we stayed in up in Big Sur near the National Park in 2003, I need to get back up there again one day too!! Why can I NOT just stay away from California?!?!

What a lucky girl you are! This upcoming trip sounds terrific and the Grand California looks awesome! You will no doubt have lots of fun planning for this trip.

YAY!! Plans are being set! You come to CA because you can, lol. Ah, the freedom of travel
"O" is a beautiful show!--Wow! I have not seen "Love" yet, but the local entertainment critic described it something along the lines of 'New, unique and like an acid trip", lol. She was surprised how much it didn't look like the other Cirque shows--very surreal and wonderful.

Good for you and Dan. The Grand Californian is an awesome hotel, you will love it! BTW, don't forget to book ADRs for the Napa Rose and Storytellers Cafe.
Hey, how about a M&G for the Mouse Buzzers when you guys are here? We could call it the 2nd Annual Experiment 6-2-6 Invitational at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen!!
