Joy and I are going to DLR in February. This is going to be an awesome trip for so many reasons. First of all, it's our first Disney trip together. Secondly, as a WDW veteran, I've never been to DLR although it's always been a dream of mine. Joy grew up going to DLR, so she'll be able to share some of her expertise with me.

As of today, we are officially double digit dancing, and we are PAID IN FULL!

We thought we'd share our DLR plans with all of our friends here at MB!

The most important part of the trip is we will be celebrating Andrew's birthday at DLR! We've decided to do Napa Rose for his birthday dinner! We still have a bit before we can make our priority seating reservations, but we are also going to do The Blue Bayou, Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Grotto!

What Joy failed to mention though, is that my birthday is on Valentine's Day. So if we want to make our PS' at Napa Rose, we have to call right on the first day we are eligible. Joy already has it marked on her calender so she can call first thing that day. Our second choice for dinner on the night of my birthday/Valentine's Day is Catal at Downtown Disney.

sounds like fun!! I don't have a clue about DL, but, I'm going to look on allears just because I care about y'alls plans.

That is so cool! I don't know anyone else whose birthday is on that day....well, except for my dog.

Maybe we should start at the beginning! We'll be meeting up Saturday morning in San Diego. I would love to take Andrew to the Wild Animal Park, but I'm encouraging him to research SeaWorld and everything else in the area before we decide!

Early Sunday morning we are either going to catch a train or drive to Anaheim and start the week off right at Disneyland!! We haven't decided on dining that day, but all I really care about at this moment is getting Andrew through the gates of Disneyland!!!

I should mention that we are going to be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. I've always said that when I go to DLR, I want to stay at DLH, and now we are booked there and paid in full.

It's too early for the schedules for February, so we don't know about parades and shows yet for our first day. We'll probably do both parks that day though, since our passes are park hoppers.

We're probably going to eat at Carnation Cafe while in Disneyland park on this day. If we find ourselves at DCA during another mealtime, we may eat at Award Weiners or Pizza Oom Mow Mow which are two CS in the park.

One thing I can't wait for at DCA that day is to ride California Screamin'

Monday we are doing Blue Bayou for lunch! We can grab a quick bite at La Brea Bakery on the way into the park. A good part of the day will probably be spent in DL, but we may opt to spend some time at DCA that day as well!

Later for dinner we can hit up Hungry Bear in Critter Country for dinner (if we get hungry again).

Yeah, I just looked at the menu for Napa Rose and decided I was too southern for it, mostly.

Did you look at the menus for both Catal and Napa Rose?
