Sounds awesome.. Is WDW different from DL? People always ask why I go to WDW and not DL and I really dont know why... Have a blast and bring home a ton of pics!!

Definately look through some of the DL threads in those forums, there's a ton of great information around! It is DEFINATELY much smaller, there is an old comparison saying that Disneyland Park can fit in the official PARKING LOT of the Magic Kingdom in WDW. Whether that is geographically correct, or not, size does not matter in this instance because quality definately reigns.

Everything in DL is just pure Disney perfection. It's going to feel different & somewhat strange to the classic WDW guest but if you have appreciation for authentic & nostalgic "Disney" you'll appreciate it in an instance.

Attractions like Indiana Jones, the Nemo submarines, their classic PoTC, the ORIGINAL IaSW, dark rides like Pinocchio & Mister Toads, not to forget the amazing California Screamin' & breath-taking Alladin show in DCA. These are just a tiny handful of things that just CANNOT be experienced in WDW. The restaurants are top notch, even the counter service locations have yummy fresh & diverse offerings, and Downtown Disney is very cool.

Just go, you won't regret it. Then you can tell your friends at work that keep teasing you, hey I DID try something different.
