Re: Our Hotel

Oh, I have always wanted to stay there, how cool. When will you be there?

I love the BTMR, out on the island and all, but the Pirates ride is funky, totally backwards. Makes no sense at all. Hope you have a great trip!

Looks gorgeous, Tom. Have a wonderful time. I'd love to visit the Paris park one day. Maybe we could combine it with a trip to the old homestead in Gravelines.

I'll be there mid-December. Don't understand what you mean about Pirates. The Paris ride has a much more logical flow to the storyline and the ride is much much better with two water chutes in the middle. I like the Paris Pirates ride lots more than the WDW version.

You certainly could. It's about a 3 hour drive between the two, or you can get Eurostar from Paris (or from the Disney Park itself) to Calais and Gravelines is about 8 miles or so outside Calais. One day.

The hotel is the nicest one at DLRP. It is literally right at the gate of the park itself and many rooms overlook the inside of the park. If you imagine MK at WDW the hotel would be where you stand to watch the opening ceremony. It is THAT close.

Sounds wonderful - but for now I guess it will only be a wonderful dream. Maybe some day, I hope. Of course, when we cross the channel for a visit to England, you'll be happy to put us up, right?
