Do they still have Vincent Price do the narration for Phantom Manor? I heard his narration on the Haunted Mansion soundtrack and was very impressed.

Ca c'est vrai, mais il y'a aussi un traduction Anglais.

When Disneyland Paris first opened (then called "Euro Disneyland,") Phantom Manor contained an opening spiel very similar to that of the American "Ghost Host." Being an English-only feature, this verbage was quickly discontinued once the park's demographics were more clearly understood. In fact, while the other Haunted Mansions contain a running narration, Phantom Manor manages to carry a much more coherent storyline with no narration at all.

However, this original introduction was especially notable as it was delivered by the inimitable monster-movie maverick Vincent Price (right), a veteran of numerous spook shows and creepy films.

Madame Leota's incantations (voiced by veteran actress Oona Lind) are also a bit different in Paris... her predictions are more eerie, and take on a malevolent tone as she reads tarot cards and predicts a "ravishing bride, but a vanishing groom..." Her verbage is also delivered bilingually.

N'ayez pas peur au point où vous en êtes, montrez-vous en pleine lumière que je vous vois un peu! Ha ha ha, hahaha Vous n'avez rien à craindre chers amis... Allez entrez, j'ai tellement de chose à vous faire découvrir...

Notre visite commence ici dans cette galerie où vous pouvez admirer la douceur et l'innocence de la jeunesse. Hélas ! Les choses ne sont pas toujours ce qu'elles paraissent... Les murs de cette pièce, par exemple, ne s'allongeraient-ils pas, par hasard ? Et comme vous pouvez le remarquer, il n'y a ni porte... ni fenêtre... Quel angoissant problème à résoudre... par où sortir ? J'ai bien peur que vous ne soyez contraints de me suivre.
