Disneyland Paris--any advice?

Since we're renting a car in Switzerland, we're thinking of taking a day to drive up to DLP. Can anyone give any tips on must-do rides, good restaurants, shows etc. for a quick, one-day trip?

Re: Disneyland Paris--any advice?

I spent one day in DLP a few years ago and it's alot of fun!!
There's a great resturant.. I think it's on Mainstreeet, kinda looks like the Carnation Cafe but a little larger...yah, i cant remember what it's called but it had awesome food. Buffet style but dishes like Lamb Biriyani, pasta, and great french food as well.
As for rides, I would HIGHLY recommend that Indiana Jones roller coaster, lots of fun... you go backwards...
The Space mountain there is really fun too, completely different story than the ones in the US.
They also just opened up that Hollywood Studios backlot and I havent even been to that yet, but check it out.
have fun!

Re: Disneyland Paris--any advice?

Thanks! Sounds like we'll love Indiana Jones, and I've read about the Space Mountain there--it sounds great!

bali, TowncarT goes to DLP all the time. He is a great source of information on it! You might get a lot of good scoop if you PM him or send him an email!

Re: Disneyland Paris--any advice?

Hey Bali, I spent 2 days there in July 2005. I could tell ya some stuff.

1. PotC is AMAZING here. DO NOT MISS IT. The outside of the attraction is great, the que is great, and the ride is perfect. I LOVED it.

2. Make sure you ride Space Mtn. Like DJ said, it's totally different than ours at WDW.

3. Hit RnRC. It's the same ride, but the theme is different than the one in WDW. I thought it was cool to see the difference.

4. The Blue Lagoon was very good. You get to sit inside with the PotC ride too.

5. Go see the dragon beneath the castle. It's very cool...

That's just a few off the top of my head. Give me some specific questions and i'll be more than happy to answer for you.

Re: Disneyland Paris--any advice?

Great advice!!! With only one day, do you think we should balance our time between both parks? Is one better than the other?

Re: Disneyland Paris--any advice?

Well, since ToT isn't done yet, I'd probably just hit maybe RnRC at the Studios and spend the rest of the day at DLP... It's MUCH better...
