Going to Disneyland Paris, need help
We are going to be in Paris from May 11 to 16, 2008 inclusive, and we are thinking of going to DLP for a day. We are staying in Paris and plan on taking the train to DLP. Need suggestions or info on how to get there, how long it takes to get there, when is the best day to go, is one day enough, which park to visit first, how should we plan our park viewing, is there something to see after the park in the resorts, are the resorts restricted to registered guests, as DVC members do we get access to the resorts, etc.
Thanks in advance for your help. TK |

Hi TK
it takes around 30 min to get to the park from Paris. i would say one day is just not enough time to do both parks, they are next to each other you can find lot's of good info on Disneyland Paris at dlrp.co.uk - disneyland resort paris 15th anniversary Here is a link to some getting around info Disneyland Paris We visited in Nov last year and stayed on site. they only do fireworks at weekend but this might increase by the time you go. the shows are in French or English at different times (but i guess thats not a problem for you). A must do if you like that sort of thing is the newly opened Crusher coaster (NO FAST PASS so go as the park opens or just as the park closes otherwise its about a 90 min wait any other time. space mountain is a must because it's nothing like the one in Florida. studio's is only a very small park with only crusher and tower of terror been the crowd pulling rides and could be done in just over a day but with that long wait for crusher i would allow around a day for each park. Walt's is a fantastic place to eat if your looking for a good place to eat. i don't know about extra hours at dlrp for members. hope some of this is of help to you enjoy your trip. ![]()

Hi only me again.
Sorry you asked do DVC members do we get access to the resorts. yes you can go to the resorts. the Disneyland hotel is the entrance to Disneyland park. you can eat at inventions with mickey etc for around 70 euro each this has views in to the park. you can walk through the Disney village to three other hotels (5-10 min walk max slow walk) Newport bay, New York, and Sequoia Lodge you can have the all you can eat buffet for 30 euro each at any of these hotels but no characters here. (Newport is very nice place to eat). Disney village is very small and nothing like downtown Disney. all the best Jim

Re: Going to Disneyland Paris, need help
Hi Wdw&Tk.
What you want to know exactly ? I can give you a lot of information about parks but i don't know how I can start. Firstly to go to Disneyland Resort Paris from Paris you have to take the "RER A (the red one)" toward "Marne la Vallée Chessy". The run is during 45min from the biggest station in Paris "Chatelet les Halles" and it costs almost 7€ (10$). It's better if you already buy your park entrance ticket before enter it because there is always lot of people in desks.
