Disneyland Paris Resort: 10th anniversary

Hi,

My name is Anne-Catherine and I'm from Belgium. I'm new on this forum . I'm glad I've found a forum on Disneyland Paris. I just came back from Disneyland Resort a few days ago, and I'm already going back there in two weeks. But this time it will only be for one day! Nevertheless, I'm going to book my next stay for July in a few weeks! I don't know if it is the same for you, but when I go to DLP, I forget all the worries!!!

I just want to recommend you the new show for the 10th anniversary (which is today) "Minnie's Surprise Party". It is great! And if you have children, they can take part in the show! Which is great fun for them!

Anyway, I hope to have your comments on Disneyland Paris!

Anne-Cath :)

Hey everyone? Did anyone watch the Travel Channel thing on DLP a couple of hours ago? We've never been but now that we joined DVC we want to go.

The show didn't cover the new park there. Has anyone been? We'd love to hear your comments on the whole thing...including tips on weather planning. What's the best time of year to go...doesn't look like it gets all that hot even in the summer.

Hello,

I went to Disneyland Resot Paris 2 weeks ago. The Disneyland Park is great! There is the 10th birthday show and the World of Disney Parade is good too. What I suggest for the Parade is to be at the "departure" of the Parade near "It's a small world" so you can do all the attractions there while the other are waiting at the end!

If you stay in one of the hotel, you can have breakfast in the Park but you have to ask for it when you book your trip in the Travel agency. It's nice.:)

The new park, Walt Disney Studio, is quite small. It's nice but you have finish the visit in the afternoon. The stunt show is spectacular!

Regarding the hotels, Santa Fe (cheapest one) is not bad, Cheyenne is good (that's where I'm going to stay in July)!

Anyway, I personnaly enjoy going there!

If you want so more info or have questions, don't hesitate.

Anne-Cath ;)

I have been to DLP twice; 1999 for my 17th birthday and 2000 with the band I was in as we were playing in the big park in the middle of paris, and I think DLP is GREAT the castle is so much prettier !:D

I too have recently come back from disneyland paris and was very impressed. We spent 2 days at disneyland park itself and 1 day at Disney studios. What can i say about disneyland park, it really is impressive. Disneyland studios, was OK, although rather small. My son took ill and i spent half of the day in the first aid room and still managed to see almost everything.

We went to DLP three years ago while visiting family in Germany. We loved it! The castle is great and I like the dragon underneath, the Haunted Mansion is the best one of the three I've seen and Big Thunder Mountain was fantastic. It's like they took the best of DL and WDW and put it in Paris.
