Another trip report from DLRP!

Hi everybody!

I'm a little bit ashamed, I didn't post a lot for some times!!!!

Two weeks ago, I went back to ... Disneyland Resort Paris! (well in one month time, I went 2 times!! )

As you maybe know, there was the Lion King Carnival from 7th Feb. to 7th March!

This time it was quite a big meeting: between 20 and 25 persons!!! Just to be sure I'll be in good shape, I left Brussels on the Friday with 2 friends! We arrived in Marne La Vallée around 6.00 PM and had a great welcome from friends, already waiting for us!! First thing: annual pasport for two of them!! The new ones are very interresting: price is lower for more advantages!!!!

So, after that, we went to POTC which was great as everybody was waiting fot the Fantillusion Parade and the Fireworks! Then, meeting point with another friend waiting for us before going to the Cheyenne Hotel. Had somethnig like a party in the hotel room as we haven't seen each other for 2 months!!! One thing unusual, we decided to do some in'-line skating around the Lake!! this was a great time!!!!

On Saturday, after having met some new people, we did the attractions! Not too crowded so it was great! The Lion King Carnival was great! The show on Central Plaza is very good! For the presentation, they have a real baby lion!!! Sooooo cute!!!! The atmosphere before the show is done with jungle sounds. The music is great and the performers do a great job!!

What's funny is to see CM's face when they ask you: "how many" and you answer 24!!!!!!!

And I am very very proud of myself!! The only attraction that was missing on my list was Indiana Jones - backwards and I did it!! Took me a alot of courage but I did it and I really like!!!!!!! So now, I can say: I have done everything!!!!

Sunday was like the Saturday, except with this sad feeling that some of us were leaving that day!!!! And that it was freezing!!!!!!

On Monday, as we were a limited number, we decided to have a GOOD meal! We went to Walt's an American Restaurant! Good food, great atmosphere, cosy etc! For the price: 29 euro for starter, main dish and dessert!!

If you want to have a look at some pictures, here are some links:

Enjoy them!!

Wow!! Thanks for the Disney Paris trip report!! We don't have many members visiting the parks outside of the states.

It is cool to hear how similar yet different things are at the sister parks.

yep! the park is open all year long!! And yes, we have sunshine in Paris but only in summer!! Sadly !!! The weather in Florida is just very good for me as I don't like cold!!!! But, that's life!!! ;) I remember that in January 2003 when I was there, we had a snow storm! All Paris was blocked and they nearly decided to close the park at 4.00 PM after only 1 hour of snow falls!!!

The pictures with the snow where taken on 1st January 2004!!! I woke up at 8.30 and there was nothing! 2 hours later, we had 10-15 cm!!!! It snowed all day long!!!!!!

Unfortunately, the link woith the pictures of DLRP covered with a white cold snow is not working anymore! I will check this out with him and add it if they are still on line!!

Disney is different, but the amusement parks in the north are closed during the winter. There is no way people would venture out in the snow.

I would assume that most of the rides are indoors at DLP.

Anyway, keep posting information on DLP. We would love to see pictures of the attractions.

Thanks!!

The attractions outdoors are Indiana Jones - Backwards, BTM, Orbitron in the Disney park and Studio tram tours, Aladdin Magical Carpets, and Moteurs Action Stunt Show in the Walt Disney Studios but as we are used to the cold, it's not much of a problem!! Even the parades and fireworks are taking place unless high winds or heavy rain and of course snow! Just have to dress with warm clothes, a scarf and it is ok!!!

I will try to add pictures of shows and parades on Webshots.

Hi everybody, I'm new on this forum, my name is Thomas and I'm french
I was with AC during this meeting.
Before Getting Started, I must warn you that I am not very good in English .
Then I am not of your opinion AC, because the 23 it made good weather!! look at a little: http://membres.lycos.fr/ytrezatoma/one.jpg
They were 4 extraordianaires days! In truth, it was a meeting with the members of a French-speaking Disney forum
I will not be able to tell you all in the details because it occurred so much from things. On the other hand, I will be charmed that one can echanger our information on different Resorts since for us the USA are not that close ;)

So, if you want other pictures, just tell me

it's true that it became "friends-meeting". One can say that a great family is trained. Everyone means super good, it's the Disney magic! I keep saying: thanks again, I have an AP;)

If you want more information on our european vision, visit our forum on www.disneycentralplaza.fr.st (And do not hesitate to put your questions, many people speaks English)

Welcome Thom!!!! It is great to have a new member to DC.

From the pictures, it looks like you had a great time at DLP!!!

Maybe you can make a group trip to WDW in Florida. No snow. No cold weather. But you may get wet. It rains often. Usually once a day for a breif period.

It is great to get this forum going!!! A view from people who live in Europe is great.

If you have any questions about the state's park, you have come to the right place.

Anne-Cath, keep inviting your friends!!!

Merci pour le lien à votre site web, mais je ne peux pas lire le français. J'aurai besoin d'enfoncer avec le Disney Cental Américain.

I agree, the weather in Florida is great! I spent 1 month in Tampa 8 years ago!! Even with the rain, you are quickly dry!

Yes, we usually have great times in DLRP! I must admit we are a good team!!! Sometimes noisy but, very nice!!

This forum is great! Got a lot of info!!

Well, if you have any questions about Disney in Paris, do not hesitate to ask!

It is something like this forum: about films, dvd, parks (DLRP, WDW, DL, Tokyo), CM, Trip reports, General things like for example some drawings made by the users of the forum and some of them are really good!, some games, some info about us and a part of the forum where we talk about everything which is not Disney!
