Embassy Suites Anaheim South

Hi!

I am planning my first ever Disneyland vacation and we just booked a room at the Embassy Suites Anaheim South in Garden Grove. It looks pretty nice and I have seen some great reviews on tripadvisor. Has anyone ever stayed there or had any experiences with this hotel? Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I haven't stayed there, but I have been there. Nice, new hotel. Close enough to walk, but it is a good 20 minute walk. Nice rooms, nice lobby, not a bad place to stay. I think you will like it.

KarenWDWCP- You will really like DL. It has a lot of magic. You should check out Fairfield inn. It is 10 min. walk to the gates of DL. The cost is about 79.00 a night
Have fun!!!!

OR you should if you can just simply stay on Disneyland property! :-) one hotel I GREATLY recomend is the Castle Inn. Its DIRECTLY across the street from the DLR and has great rooms, views, ammenities, and all sorts of other stuff. And the rooms are wonderful and at a low price, plus its a real nice hotel! Trust me! :-) :-) ;-) ;-) And YES you will LOVEthe DLR, both parks, and DTD its wonderful just as is WDW. :-)

Re: Embassy Suites Anaheim South

Hi all,

I just got back from my Anaheim/Disneyland trip on Saturday morning! Just as an FYI, the Embassy Suites Anaheim South (actually in Garden Grove) was fantastic and one of the best parts of our stay. It is right on Harbour Blvd, about 7 minutes from Disney, maybe less. It is on the Anaheim Resort Transit line which made going back and forth from the parks to the hotel really easy. The staff was super nice. The suite was large and very, very clean ( I am easily skeeved out by hotel rooms!) and there was a full complimentary breakfast every morning included in the room rate - they would make any eggs or omelettes cooked to order and then had a buffett with french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, cereal and fruit. THere was also a manager's reception every night for 2 hours with free drinks and snacks. All in all it was a great hotel stay and easy to get to and moderately priced. We loved it and would definitely go back!
