Re: Paradise pier
I've never been inside it but I hear it's nice! PCH Grill is there. (The Minnie character dining)
Question though - how come not the Grand Californian? That would be my first choice. All the hotels are walking distance from each other, very much unlike WDW. |

Re: Paradise pier
I haven't stayed there because it is a farther walk than the DL hotel of the GC. I haven't been inside. I would recommend the GC if you can afford it. It is right in the middle of DLR. You walk right out of the hotel into CA or DTD, and it is a short walk into DL.

Re: Paradise pier
Paradise Pier Hotel is very nice. It has a very cool beach kinda theme and is also very well themed and has great views of the parks (depending on what side your staying on) but alll the views are awsome. But yea if you can, I would DEFFINATLEY stay at The Grand Californian, its a spectacular hotel! :-) But all the DLR hotels are awsome and you'll get a true grand DL experience at all the DLR hotels! :-) :-) :-)

Re: Paradise pier
I went to Disneyland for the first time in April & stayed at the Paradise Pier. I don't know anything about the other hotels, but I loved PP! The room was reeeeally nice, and like anaheimboy15 said, the views are great. And it is kind of a walk to get to DTD - probably 10 mins - but it's not that bad. From a first-time DL tourist's point of view, I'd say definitely try it! :)

Re: Paradise pier
Yes very much indeed. It may take a few extra minutes to get to the parks and DTD but the walk us very much worht it! :-) I would recommend PP, DGC, or the DL hotel(s) to all if ur going to DL. :-) :-)
