March 05 Question2 DLH rooms

OK, thanks again every1 who helped out with my first thread, you are all so helpful, but then again, what else should I expect from a group of Disney fans.

My next question is to do with the rooms, as have decided (been advised, persuaded, talked into) staying at the Disneyland Hotel I now need to know which room or tower I should look into.

I have read about room 2000 ... but also vaguely remember reading about rooms with a view of the fireworks ....

Any ideas ... anybody.

4 months, 3 weeks to go ....

Re: March 05 Question2 DLH rooms

Ok, Im not sure of the DLH tower names but if I were you I would deffinatly get a room in the tower facing DTD with a view of DTD....from there u can see both the parks DTD and the entry plaza, try to get a room on the highest floors possible (you get a better overall view) Hope that helped a little. :-)

I am not sure about room 2000, but there is a new tower and an old tower. Should be pretty self-explanatory...

I think you can only get a DTD view in one tower. That is the one I would recommend. Otherwise you everlook the pool or parking lot!

DTD = Downtown Disney. It is the shopping area that connects The Disneyland Hotel and The Grand Californian to the two parks (Disneyland & California Adventure). It has alot of fun restraunts (ESPN Zone, House Of Blues, Rainforest Cafe) and some great stores, including "The World Of Disney" where you can find just about anything!

Yea, just look at a map of the DLH and you'll be able to see which towers face what way and which will have the view you want. Like you said Disneywife, Its pretty self explanitory.

DTD is the best, both DLR's and WDW's and if you can vitha1, try to get a view of DTD and/or the parks when you go. Its a pretty awsome view!

Re: March 05 Question2 DLH rooms

Thankyou yet again.

So as I understand I need to ask for a room that looks over the parks and DTD (is higher better?)

Is there still fireworks which would be visible from the room? What nights do they have these?

Is it better to watch them from within the park?

sooooooo many questions :)

Re: March 05 Question2 DLH rooms

I personally would get a room that is higher up, you get a better overall view of the parks/resort. And yes, the firework show is visable from the rooms (all depending what side your facing and what tower your in) and the firework show is every night, they do sometimes cancel it if its raining or to windy and they have one everynight that im aware of.....unless they have changed it in the last few days. And Im always happy to answer questions. :-)
