I'm trying to talk my wife into a Disneyland trip next year instead of WDW. Although I will be happy with either, I'd love to see Disneyland (especially during the celebration).

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I have heard it's not very good. It's only 8 minutes long. You would think with the celebration, they would've had a great planning video out. I've heard it's more like a sneak peak into the goings on for the 50th than an actual planning video like WDW has.

I got mine last week and was so excited to find it in the mailbox. But boy was I disappointed after watching it You would think it would be great with the celebration going on, but it wasn't. It was too short....well done, but too short. It was about 8 minutes, and has no menu for extra features. Nothing extra on the hotels, DTD, etc. You get the whole DLR in 8 minutes. Very disappointing.

Ugh, 8 minutes!! I was soooo looking forward to this coming out. After watching the DVC video, I've been dying for them to make a great one for DLR like they did for DVC. (Though I don't know why they would...after all, DVC is the big "investment", and every second of the DVD is important if it means people will buy into it! )

I was going to order the DLR one, but now I'm not so sure. Sounds like a waste. I'd rather see every inch of the park & resorts than just hear about the celebration. I already KNOW about it enough, thank you! Haha.

Big article in Cast Connection this week about DVC coming to Disneyland Resort... I didn't read it in much detail as we're not interested in it but it is definitely coming.

I watched it last night too... This is horrible. The WDW has so much and more and then some on top of that.

I understand WDW is bigger and all, but I wanted some facts on Disneyland Hotels. Duh, that's why I asked for a Vacation DVD. I wanted some facts and info on the parks.

The eight minutes cover about three minutes of "other" parks, one minute of "fluff" and about four minutes of Disneyland. Of those four minutes, we are basically described what is coming for the 50th celebration at Disneyland. That's all.

I am highly disappointed.

Thanks for the forewarning. I was looking forward to getting this one because we, too, were considering DL vs WDW vs a Disney Cruise next spring. Not that a @#^* will change our mind but I was hoping it would help us make the decision. Oh well.

Still lovin' Disney!!
