Disneyland Hotel

Whenever I go to Disneyland, I look at the Disneyland Hotel with admiration--from far away. I've always wanted to go there, but we, unfortunately, cannot afford its expenses.

I still have probably just as good a time though. It doesn't really matter what hotel you stay in.

However, I've always wanted to go and swim in the Peter Pan pool...just for experience. It looks SO nice! I was wondering if anyone knew...are you allowed to swim in this pool when you don't stay at the Disneyland Hotel?

No, you are not allowed to swim in any of the Disney pools unless you are staying there. However, the pool at both the DLH and the GC are not guarded by any means. I would think you could sneak in if you really wanted to.

THat is what I was wondering, we have eaten at the DL hotel and I noticed people were just going in and out of the pool.

I too have eaten there... I was so tempted into going into the pool! I wouldn't mind sneaking in...it's just the consequences that I am worried about. I don't want to get in trouble at Disneyland! All my trips have been kosher so far, I don't want to spoil my reputation with the Disney workers, lol. Has anyone snuck into the DLH pool before?

Pool not guarded?
When we were there last year, you needed a room key to open the gate to either pool! There wasn't any way just to sneak in unless someone opened up for you.
One morning, we got up early to use the pool at GC and our pass key didn't work. We had to wait until Pool Hours to kick in to enter.

And as for the one at DLH, you need a pass key to get into that area. We passed by to take pictures and couldn't get in to do that.

Yes it is an electric gate to access the pool area. And you need an up-to-date room card/key to activate the gate to open.

Aw, I see. Too bad, I really wouldn't mind taking a dip in that pool! We'll be staying at DL for seven days, and two of those are going to be "relax" days. We were thinking of spending one of our relaxing days in the Peter Pan pool...:( Hm, maybe if I find someone really nice with a pool key though...

I seriouslt doubt anyone will give you their key since it is also the key to their room. I am not that trusting sorry.
